This practical workshop is designed for yoga teachers, trainees and dedicated practitioners wanting to refine the art of hands-on assists, yoga adjustments and safe physical cueing. Learn how to offer assists that are purposeful, ethical and empowering, helping students experience greater alignment, awareness and confidence in their practice.
During this immersive training you will explore:
Foundations of safe and effective hands-on yoga assists
How to give clear, confident and supportive adjustments
Assists for common standing, seated and restorative postures
Consent, boundaries and ethical touch in yoga teaching
Using touch to enhance alignment, stability and student experience
When to assist, when to observe, and when not to adjust
Partner practice to develop confidence and sensitivity

Contraindications and when not to assist
Consent-based teaching and how to ask permission
