Anand Parekh - Founder

There’s always been that spark within me that enticed me to understand the deeper meaning of life.

As I hit my 20’s I realised I needed greater focus and was surrounded by great role models, however never dedicated the time to stop, reflect and really contemplate how I should be living my life. As I grew older, I became further inquisitive of my culture and heritage. One day I noticed my Mother practicing Pranayama (breath work) and I would say this kickstarted my journey into the world of yoga.

I truly believe Yoga was the missing piece in my life, it was always so close and now I had the opportunity to delve into the vastness of this spiritual practice. I embraced the physical and spiritual practice especially Suryanamaskars (Sun Salutations) in the mornings and how my mind and body felt in unison. The energy of the Sun illuminated my soul and gave me purpose, direction and uplifted me spiritually.

I understand that yoga is a way of life and each day my interest in the development of the self grows and Yoga is the key that is guiding me to understand the true nature of my inner being!

My role is to serve society and bring truth seekers together. This is where my heart feels at home.

Devina Parekh - Co-Founder

I have always been a seeker, my journey with yoga started at a very young age. I was introduced to Bhakti yoga through my love for chanting and playing the harmonium. Bhakti Yoga is classically defined as the path of devotion for me, and it’s often referred to as the yoga of love.

Bhakti is one of the three primary paths to enlightenment laid out by Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita (the two other paths being jnana, the path of knowledge, and karma, the path of action, often interpreted as service to others).

Over the years, my teaching has evolved to welcome a more spiritual practice that brings opportunities to yogis for building connection to self, promoting balance, and creating physical and mental relaxation through Kundalini, Yin, Hatha and Mantra chanting.

I found that following the path of yoga has not only allowed me to grow into the strong and empowering woman that I am today but has allowed me access to heal and help many others who are searching for more.

Nicole Windle

I have been teaching and guiding students since 2015 with over 300 hours of training. I teach mainly Vinyasa Flow & Yin Yoga styles, bringing Yin & Yang elements to my classes.

It’s all about balance; flowing and moving energy around the body (Yang) to moving into stillness, connecting to the stillness and the breath, being present (Yin).

I help people come into the present moment, by connecting your body with your breath and helping you to find flow in your practice, bringing flow to your life.

I help to soothe your mind, body and soul through healing practices I have learnt along my travels in India & Thailand. Bringing the East to the West, because we all need a bit more woo-sah.

Yoga for me is to connect to nature and to treat and see everyone equally. Over the years of my practice I have witnessed myself become stronger mentally. The teachings of Yoga have helped me to deal with life’s challenges with a calm and balanced mind through becoming flexible and adaptable mentally and physically.

Being in India my Yoga journey started as soon as I became aware of my surroundings, I was exposed to Mantra Meditation from my childhood and in school we practised Asana. But it wasn’t until a short visit Sivananda Ashram that my interest in Yoga was truly sparked. A few weeks at the Ashram turned into a year during which time I completed their advanced teacher training course. Since then I have been dedicated to an ongoing exploration of Yoga and have stayed in Ashrams and attended courses across India to continue my learning.

I taught my first studio Yoga class seven years ago. I loved the feeling of sharing what I learnt so far and went on to teach and travel from studios in Taiwan to a yoga retreat in Goa. Eventually home called and I returned Delhi, where with my brother and his shared passion of yoga, we set up our own studio, to share the teachings that had transformed our lives.

After many years of exploring the deeper realms and layers within myself and finally finding a home within my own body, I was then ready to discover and embrace yoga. I feel that if I’d have found it any sooner than this, it wouldn’t have ‘clicked’.

Yoga seemed to physically and tangibly embody a lot of what I’d been exploring previously through meditation and self-enquiry. I soon realised that this is something which I will enjoy learning about for the rest of my life. I believe that we are forever students within the sphere of yoga, and that’s the beauty of the practice. It transcends deeper than asanas and becomes a space for you to evolve, learn and to grow.

My teaching style is to hold space for others to explore self-enquiry, self-love and inner-peace. I approach the practice with a playful curiosity and encourage you to have fun along the way!
